Teresa Fariss McClain brings a unique blend of legal and medical experience to the law firm of Hallberg & McClain. A 2001 cum laude graduate of William Mitchell College of Law, she practiced as a registered nurse in the areas of obstetrics and adult critical care for more than 20 years. Prior to helping found Hallberg & McClain, she clerked for a year with the Honorable Donald P. Lay of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
Ms. McClain's combined experience as attorney, law clerk and registered nurse is invaluable in handling medical malpractice and personal injury cases. She is committed to serving as an advocate for her clients, listening to their stories, researching their cases and effectively representing their stances to achieve just outcomes.
A member of the Minnesota State and Hennepin and Ramsey County Bar Associations, Ms. McClain is also a member of Minnesota Women Lawyers and Minnesota Trial Lawyers, and serves in several professional and civic groups. She has served as an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law, directing the Rosalie Wahl Moot Court Competition.
Ms. McClain lives in Shoreview, Minnesota, with her husband, Gary. They have four children.
