Teresa Fariss McClain brings a unique blend of legal and medical experience to the law firm of Hallberg & McClain. A 2001 cum laude graduate of William Mitchell College of Law, she practiced as a registered nurse in the areas of obstetrics and adult critical care. Prior to helping found Hallberg & McClain, she clerked for a year with the Honorable Donald P. Lay of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
Ms. McClain's combined experience as attorney, law clerk and registered nurse is invaluable in handling medical malpractice and personal injury cases. She is committed to serving as an advocate for her clients, listening to their stories, researching their cases and effectively representing their stances to achieve just outcomes.
Ms. McClain is a member of the Minnesota State and Ramsey County Bar Associations, Minnesota Women Lawyers, Minnesota Association for Justice, and serves in several professional and civic groups. She is an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law, teaching Legal Writing and Representation.
Ms. McClain lives in Shoreview, Minnesota, with her husband, Gary. They have twin boys and two adult children.
